The orange mother

I did this while I was on a 2 weeks long spring-time vocation in my summer house located quite in the countryside of Latvia. On the contrary of the creative boost I expected before going there I soon came to realise that working on most technical works is almost impossible in such environment as you simply lack any source of that digital inspiration. However, the constant romantic mood was something more easy to exploit so I came to try out a small space scene which also turned into a pretty nice texturing training.

It's 100% Photoshop CS illustration, my first attempt in illustrating anything related to space and one of my first larger digital drawings, actually.
